okay how long have I not blogged... haha

no excuses manling is damn lazy
anw..MERRY XMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!
all my darlings and friends in Singapore, everyone in UIUC and those still camping overseas this holidays not at home enjoying a bowl of laksa or sambal stingray or hokkien mee or..(WAILS*) manling is missing home food..
okay let's c...
this past few months have bee a blast. I have done so many things within 3 months in school..
firstly studies. I was super paranoid that I wouldn't do well and afraid for ece190 which is a computing course. But I guess everything turned out really well in the end. Lings is happy.
secondly SSA. Well this is the group that help me adapt to UIUC life and where I met the greatest people. I am so thankful to all those who have assisted me in one way or another.
hmmm..I have alsoe been travelling so much since I arrived in the US!! Been to Chicago, Wisconsin, Boston, Philly, Buffalo, New York, Puerto Rico and Florida! gasp.. haha.. having lots of fun and learning alot of things in the mean time. I am really having a very blessed and fulfilled life.
I am now in Puerto Rico (US colony) and kinda chao da-ed from the sun at the beach (whose beauty is too hyped up about)
I hope everyone at Singapore is doing fine. I am really sorry if I have been out of contact for so so long but I say this from the bottom of my heart:
I have NEVER forgotten about you guys and I miss the times we have so so much. Whenever I read your blogs or talk to you guys on MSN which in the states, I feel that I have been missing out so much and yet I know you guys are having fun in whatever you are doing. I am really longing for the Summer Holidays when I will be back and finally catch up with you guys. Lings still loves you all.
Especially to the following people: Clara, Dil, Shengjun, Andy, Sihao, Alicia, Piggy, Jovina, Abby, Yings..take care k..and thanks for keeping me in mind too =)

Another year.

The first time spending it in the US away from my family. It is also the first time I am actually up and someone celebrated for me on the strike of midnight. Nothing big or extravagant but I still appreciate the effort put in. Of course my classes are all attended and though it doesn't sound like much fun it's the first time I am not having an exam on this day! haha.. stayed overnight, had dim sum wif my dearie, got Moonstruck chocs and drink.. and most importantly got wonderful suprising bday wishes. From my RA!!! I went back and she started singing to me really touched =) thx janice.. then my small group! i actually have not known them for long but they all signed and MADE a card for me AND gave me cookies and sweets =) so happy and grateful! Thankyou God for giving me such wonderful friendships and bringing warmth into my heart in this foreign land. And of course not forgetting my mummy who called and then messaged me at the strike of midnight! thank you..really missing and loving you a lot here.

doing my essay now..hopefully can complete another page of it today. and going out later (hopefully) maybe clubbing too.but depends. cold and wet day here.

(hehe) hope the doc at Mckinley was good..me going for Retail Therapy later..haiz..c if i can drop by again okay? i love you lots =)

Anw okay let's c..i got back results for my exams le..okay ECE110 was good (2 pts deducted for nth haahaa) ECE190 was okay.. i think i really tried hard. although i din get above 90 but this is my first attempt at computing class.. i will definitely buck up and score much better next round. Just completing the paper makes me happy le but seeing that other pple are getting so much better grades makes me less proud of my work..pressure~ =( math? getting back tml but shouldn't be a problem la..this wk had been CRAZY fanatic!!! I quite suay because i had a math exam stuck in between ECE110 and 190 so I couldn't study as much for 190.. but oh well.. then got a RHET paper to turn in next week and beginning to have problems with 110 AND math is still going at that crazy pace which means i got a test which i haven started studying coming up tomorrow..waaaaaahhhhh. the week never ends here. I still have not had a day when i can say i am FREE. haaha..there's always some hmk to complete. Always.

Despite all these, I really thank God for bringing so many fantastic pple into my life, making it filled with love and warmth in the midst of struggling through studies and independent living. Of course my dearest Dom..=) =) Lin Yan, Wei Hong, Zhen Hao, Hazel and all my SSA batch. I am so happy that we can help each other in times of need, be it academic or non-academic issues.

I am back!

after quite a long while because homework is piling in everyday..for example I have 2 exams next week and I still have homework for 3 subjects to be due on Fri, Sat, Monday and Tuesday =( anyway though homework is piling I am enjoying myself! A bit too much I think for my own good. For example (again) on Saturday we went to play paintball! The SSA pple! At somewhere quite ulu but it was fantastic! I'd love to go again if there's a chance =D Then Sunday I went to Church (UAG) with a few of my seniors. It is quite near and the pastor is really funny.The place is very cosy too. It actually video broadcast the service from the main church so we just watch the live broadcast of it. This is followed by a great mexican lunch wahaha.. then I fell asleep in my dorm waking up to broomball session wif Dom at 730..there goes my wkend. And the time to do my work =( this wkend? gotta meet up wif Elisia (v impt) then my Lab partner then church and broomball PLUS i gotta study for ECE110 exam..haix oh PLUS food fest =(

oh i have also been to chicago and guess i haven blogged bout THAT.. but it was good! i love road trips..and the shopping was fun (v frustrating at the end though) and krispie kreme! issit spelt like this? =p ll load the pics soon! they r superb (ego smile)

anw more bout wad happened to me. well school started and basically i am pretty wound up with a lot of assignments, quizzes, activities (or trying out activities) ummm i forgot much of my A level stuff so it can be quite a struggle =p haha.. luckily there's pple like WH who will help me in computing classes or i am really quite lost!
i am getting to like Allen more and more. Maybe because i am got a chance to take guitar lessons there but the people are fantastic! and i have cell group on my floor, my church is just behind my hall so everything's great haha..
tmr will be heading down to chicago wif SSA! hopefully get good winter clothings. and of course tour Chicago! yay! will be the first road trip. Lawrence gng down to Philly la well say hi to YH, Carol for me =D hehe oh hopefully can bang into my friend Rachel in Chicago too! She lives in the city area! and Elisia! hope to catch you there!
Not much. i am just trying to mug and study so that i can do well and catch up with the pace. The math lessons here are CRAZY they go like one section (meaning one entire topic) every lecture. ya. uhhhh things that i take 2 hours to read they finish it up in less than 50 minutes rawwrss..
I got my own Bicycle too! cycling to school is really fun! Can get around so easily and no need to wait for buses to come around. Something you cant do back in Singapore too.
Well i gtg and MUG. argh feeling stupid here.
i miss you guys back at home. really. argh i am deprived of movies too. argh. haha.
